Bury Bike Skillz aims to make cycling fun!
It doesnt matter what your ability or fitness, everyone has a different start point.
We make sure your bikes are safe and comfortable. Poor bike position can cause lots of problems.
Many people worry about cycling on roads in traffic or getting up Burys' hills and slopes. When you first start it’s normal to get off and push, nothing to worry about. Everyone feels a little nervous at first.
Riding slowly is a good start, you soon get fitter and faster.
Riding on roads is easier in a group, with easy tactics to avoid feeling intimidated by traffic.
Bury Bike Skillz is run by Lucy Cronin, She is a L2 British Cycling Coach, L1 Ride Leader and Level 2 Bikeability Instructor with a L2 Diploma in Cycling and additional qualifications in first aid, safeguarding & basic repairs. She also is a trained life coach.
She has been nominated and won both national and local awards for volunteering in Cycling.
She enjoys helping people overcome their nerves to enjoy cycling!
Many local riders have completed her beginners courses and gone on to do great things!
If you want to get started, be able to take your children out for bike rides or join your partner peddling on your camping holidays, she can help.
We offer a wide range of products for every type of cyclist, from complete beginners to those who want to challenge themselves.
Just call to discuss your requirements.
